Shawls are really convenient for all types of occasions since they are easy to stick in your shoulder bag if it gets too hot. The wool of the pashmina acts as a very effective insulator, so instead of dragging around a heavy jacket on a cool spring or summer evening, a pashmina will suffice as a handy outer garment.

Pashmina shawls have now become very popular as a wedding accessory/apparel at marriage ceremonies. The last couple of summers in Britain have been pretty miserable, so perhaps this has promoted this new style. Cream-coloured pashminas, as well as white and gold are fashionable choices for wedding parties, and look amazing if all the maids of honor have a matching colour pashmina shawl. Even sheer, silk scarves have been spotted at weddings this year.

With a larger pashmina shawl, it can also act as a convenient little blanket for lengthy trips. And of course, a pashmina can transform into a warm scarf for winter days too.

There are two choices of shawl – the the 70% pashmina / 30% silk pashmina, and the pure pashmina shawl variety. The non-pure shawl you will find at cheaper cost than the 100% pashmina opposite number, but it will be less warm. It’s your choice as to how you want to wear your pashmina shawl.
